trips81103 Posted September 10, 2012 Report Posted September 10, 2012 I am looking to score a hotel in the Theater Distrcit from 12/2-12/5. I have not had any luck so far with bids up to $210 per night. I saw another poster say they kept raising their bid using a free rebid zone. What does that mean?I would really prefer to stay in the Theater District, but I guess we would consider Midtown West as well. I have started with 4* and then lowered to a 3 1/2* and added Midtown West next. Also wanted to ask....I usually don't book a hotel this early (never that organized!) Is it better to start bidding early or wait until closer to the trip? Last time we went to NYC I scored a great hotel (the same week in December) for around $225 per night.Help! Thanks!
