Priceline Hotel: Help bidding in Manhattan

I'm new to this site and I've never bid on priceline. I would really appreciate some help with regard to a bidding strategy. I'm going to New York from Oct. 2nd to Oct. 7th and I'm freaking out. Is it too late to bid? I would like to stay in the Theater District or Midtown Central. If not, then Midtown East or the Empire State Buidling Area. I can only pay up to $120 a night for a room for two people, would that be possible for 3* o 3.5* hotels? Thanks a lot!

Welcome to Betterbidding. :)

It is not too late to bid for this period. However, unfortunately, September through around 12/15 is often very busy/expensive, especially parts of the second half of that period.

Rates are quite high for this period, and the lowest rate on HOTWIRE is $228 for a 2*. I don't believe $120 will be enough for Manhattan for these dates - staying outside the city would be required, unfortunately.

Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
