Msh3ll Posted September 8, 2012 Report Posted September 8, 2012 4* Le Centre Sheraton Montreal Hotel Used your PRICELINE links, placed a bid of $100, denied. It suggested I go to $127, I got out of that page and restarted, included Laval in my options as I knew there wasn't any 4* hotels there, placed a bid of $110, nothing. It suggested $122, I restarted again, placed Laval again and bid $115, tada... I got the Sheraton. Hopefully this isn't too bad as it is comicon season.

Msh3ll Posted September 17, 2012 Author Report Posted September 17, 2012 Follow-up on hotel stay:Hotel is in a convenient location, very close to shopping district and close enough to the old-port. When we got there the valet told us to go park first then go up to check-in, which we did. Check-in was a breeze, verified my ID and took a CC for room charges (and parking $20+tax a night). We were given room keys, I had called the same day and requested a room on a high floor, we got floor 31. The room was standard, king size bed, A/C, everything looked clean. cons: no fridge. Now, we figured it wasn't a big deal until you were thirsty and had to keep things outside and they would get warm (or you would have to go get ice). It was also my boyfriend's birthday, I had got him some slices of cake which we had to eat right away because there was no where to store them, so it actually did make us miss a fridge. Check-out was even simpler, they slid a paper while we were sleeping the night before and advised us if we were okay with the room charges to simply deal an extension number, leave your name/room number and time of check-out during a message and leave the room keys in the room. Overall: got a great price and the hotel was great overall.
