stefania10 Posted September 7, 2012 Report Posted September 7, 2012 Hello,My family and I are going to NYC from 9/26-10/1 for my sisters 40th birthday. We are a group of 6. It has been hard finding decent hotels that accommodate a bigger group. We have a backup reservation at the Sheraton 4 points in Midtown. I have been looking at Hotwire for something a little cheaper. Can someone give me some advice on what hotels you think are listed? Also, if a 4 star hotel with a 75% rating would be a better bet than a 3.5 star with a 90% rating. My concern is that the 3.5 star is considered a boutique hotel. Would that work for a group our size? Here are the hotels in question:Chelsea - Madison Square Garden-4 Stars75% Favorable$299Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, High Speed Internet, Accessible for Blind and Deaf, Free Internet, Accessible Path of Travel, In-Room Accessibility, Accessible Bathroom, Roll-in ShowerChelsea - Madison Square Garden-3.5 Stars90% Favorable$291Boutique Hotel, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, High Speed Internet, Free Internet, In-Room Accessibility, Accessible BathroomChelsea - Madison Square Garden-3 Stars85% Favorable$246Fitness Center, Business Center, High Speed Internet, Acessible for Blind and Deaf, Free Breakfast, Free Internet, Accessible Path of Travel, In-Room Accessibility, Accessible Bathroom, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in ShowerThank you for your advice.
