bpsdave Posted September 7, 2012 Report Posted September 7, 2012 hello there again (well since a year ago..)i wonder if i could get some advice /bidding strategy pleasewe are heading to boston on 1st october for 4 nights before heading to canadaall hotels seem expensive ,not sure if there is something on or thats just boston ?my wife and I ,and my dad are coming ,so we need 2 rooms. Ideally 4 star but would look at 3.5 maybewould maybe look at a 2b apartment if there are any aroundwe want to be fairly central ,the theatre district seems to fit the bill for us,close to a bit of nightime stuff ,but what are peoples thoughts on other districts that may suit us ?i saw on the forum some success at the revere at around 130 ,but as prices seemed high at this time i tried $200 for 4 star theatre district with no successso i thought instead of bidding on i would step back and take some advicecant say we reall have a budjet ,just want to get it as reasonable as possible ; what do you think i will need to go to ?look forward to feedback -thanks in advancedave
thereuare Posted September 8, 2012 Report Posted September 8, 2012 Welcome back! These dates are expensive and while $200 still may not be enough, my first suggestion would be to expand the zones you're willing to accept... for most users Beacon Hill, Boston Common, Copley Square, and Quincy Market are all considered convenient and centrally located. If you look at the PRICELINE map for this area (enter 'Boston' in the search box on the top right of this page) do all of these zones appear to be acceptable for your needs this trip? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
