Priceline Hotel: 3.5 - 4 * San Fran hotel

I have tried bidding up to $165 (09/25-09/27) for a 3.5 and 4 * hotel in san fran and have been rejected. I have tried union east, moscone, nob hill, fishermans wharf and embarcardero with no success. I have seen other posts where people have won a 4* hotel at $150. Any ideas whats going on during these dates?

FYI, I got Marriott Fisherman's Wharf for $120 (09/23-09/25), but keep failing to bidding 09/22-09/23. Guess it's really a busy time in SF...
