XCountryFlyer Posted August 7, 2005 Report Posted August 7, 2005 Has anyone confirmed that this 4* QM/FD hotel is the Hyatt? In a previous thread the moderator mentioned it looked like Hotwire redrew the QM/FD boundaries to include the Hyatt. I have to agree after comparing the Hotwire map to a Google Map with the Hyatt pinpointed.Selected amenities include: Restaurant(s), Pool(s), Fitness Center, High-Speed Internet Access, Business Center. Customer favorite as well.Price per night: $190.00Subtotal: $190.00Taxes/Fees: $30.95Total Price: $220.95The Hyatt did have a strange nightlife package for $224 plus taxes for three that was much cheaper than anything else offered for the night.I am staying one night, 9/18/05, with two other adults. It is jam packed all over Boston. I did some bidding on PL but since it only guarantees double occupancy, bidding for two rooms reaches a point where it the value gets iffier.I read that the $10 coupon code no longer works. Bummer.

XCountryFlyer Posted August 8, 2005 Author Report Posted August 8, 2005 Hyatt Regency Boston (Upscale)One Avenue de LafayetteBoston, Massachusetts 02111(617) 451-2600Hotel: 1 room(s) @ $187.00 per night x 1 nights $187.00 Taxes and Fees: $30.95Hotel Subtotal: $217.95 Total Cost: Some hotels may apply additional charges. $217.95 Amenities listed: Restaurant(s), Pool(s), Fitness Center, High-Speed Internet Access, Business Center. Customer favorite mentioned. My booking confirms the suspicion that the Hyatt Regency Boston is now a Hotwire 4* in the Quincy Market - Financial District area. I have three in my party so I tried Priceline for two 4* rooms and was rejected to $95 in Downtown and Logan. To go further pushed the price beyond Hotwire's. Web room rates for the mediocre 3* and 4* hotels all over Boston were pushing mid-$200s and up without taxes and fees. Ouch!I decided to go with the Hotwire hotel since it allowed confirming three people and it looked to be the Hyatt. It is my first Hotwire purchase and I will use the Entertainment Book Hotwire $30 rebate as well. Just to add, the Hotwire price dropped $3 from last night.
thereuare Posted August 8, 2005 Report Posted August 8, 2005 Thanks for the confirmation... glad it worked out as expected.Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
