erollock Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 I already have a hotel booked in Long Island City at The Red Roof Inn...However this would be my last resort. <----(I have up till 9/5/12 @ 11:59pm to cancel this) I really do not want to stay there, if you Google the area you'll see why. I would rather stay in a 3+ (would be open to a 2.5 star) hotel either in NYC or Long Island City area. For Manhattan the maximum I'm willing to spend for 3 nights is 500-550 total (not per night) and in Long Island City my maximum for all 3 days is 370-450.The area has to be accessible to public transport. Please help me I'm in dire need. It's for 2 adults the weekend of 7Sept- 10Sept for the weekend of US Open Championship finals...I keep seeing on priceline people winning bids for 80-100 for L.I.C but I just cannot luck up and 90-150 for NYC area (financial district, Chelsea, and so forth)
AaronJB Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Just to confirm, have you already tried bidding for NYC up to $150? If so, please provide the star rating and all zones you have tried bidding for. Additionally, are you looking for a total of $550 "all-in" (including taxes/fees) or $550 + taxes/fees? $550 "all-in" for a 3+ in Manhattan for these dates ($150 bid per night) is likely going to be difficult, but may not be too far off. I'm guessing a 3* in Manhattan is likely going to take more in the range of $165-185, depending on the zone.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
