KenC Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 Quote today through the BB HOTWIRE link:5* Central Park East Hotel $442/night for Oct 2/3, 2011Amenities: Fitness Centre, Business Centre, Spa Services, Restaurants, High Speed Internet AccessI see on the pinned list of hotels that this might be the Surrey. This would be an acceptable hotel for my wife, but this is the first time considering this service so we are reluctant to commit $1000 without being (fairly sure). Any assistance would be appreciated.Ken(Sherwood Park, AB, Canada)
AaronJB Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Just to confirm, are you checking out on 10/3 or 10/4? Additionally, are you still seeing this listing when searching? I'm not seeing it when searching for either combination.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
KenC Posted September 2, 2012 Author Report Posted September 2, 2012 We were checking in on October 2nd, out on the 4th (typo though, should be 2012, not 2011 - of course). I just accessed it through the HOTWIRE Quickquote link on the BB site and did get the same price of $442/nightI did have the amenities out of order the first time I posted them- the correct order is Fitness/Restaurants/Business/High-speed/spa.Thank-you.Ken
AaronJB Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 Oddly, this listing comes up when searching for New York City, but wasn't coming up when I was searching for NYC.Things can always change (new hotels and star rating changes are reported near-daily), but this amenity set/star rating/zone combination has been previously seen with the Surrey, so that would be my guess.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted September 4, 2012 Report Posted September 4, 2012 I agree that best guess would be the Surrey, but even if it ultimately proves to be some other property, this hotel get a 100% recommendation from previous HOTWIREs guests as well as 5.0/5.0 across the board on all the criteria HOTWIRE asks previous guests to rate, and a very high 4.5/5.0 TA rating... i suspect this hotel should be fine for your wife. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
