Hotwire Hotel: 5*, Las Vegas (Strip South) Questions

Hello there,

I'm new to all of this, I'm trying to book a hotel stay for my sister's wedding and was looking at both priceline and hotwire. I have a few questions, one of which being does Hotwire update or change its "hot rates" very often? Right now, they have a hotel in the South Strip for $170 which I believe is the Vdara because there is no casino listed in the amenities description. I don't mind staying at the Vdara but I think the rate is simply "okay" for those dates and was thinking I might try and go the Priceline bidding route. My other question is that as far as Las Vegas Strip South 5* star hotels, are the Aria, Cosmopolitan and Vdara pretty much the only ones?

Unfortunately, there is no way to know when the service updates - it can be fairly often during busy dates in larger areas. As for specific listings, there's no way to know - it could change tomorrow, or may not change between now and your stay. One suggestion (and this definitely may not work) is to search for 2 adults and 2 children. That *sometimes* brings up different listings.
