pitrow Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 Psyched to get this hotel in such a great spot for an anniversary trip this weekend. :) I had booked a refundable room a few weeks back at the Palomar (Kimpton) for $174/night, but wanted to try our look on Priceline today before heading out tomorrow.I'm not sure if everyone has the same case, but I usually have gotten better deals on Priceline with late notice. The Palomar looks like a great spot and is highly rated so at $174/night which is pretty good to begin with on a Holiday weekend I was only going to go with a PL unknown with a lowball bid.I was set on Union Square East 4* using zones 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 11 as rebid zones1. Rejected at $124 but countered by Priceline with $1422. Rejected at $1263. Winning bid at $129/night for Saturday and Sunday night stay over Labor Day weekend.Used the PRICELINE link as always prior to bidding.
