Attempted to extend my stay for 4 nights at the Hyatt Place San Antonio - Northwest, which I booked through Priceline's Name Your Own Price for $42/night, but they would only extend my stay if I increased my price to $71/night. Rather than do that, I began bidding anew.

My bidding history (all with 2.5 stars selected):

On 8/29/12: Selected 4 areas: San Antonio North - Stone Oak, San Antonio Airport (SAT), Fiesta Texas - La Cantera, & Medical Center; bid $42: got a "try again right now for $54", which I ignored;

Added Fort Sam Houston and changed price to $45, rejected.

On 8/31/12: Selected 3 areas: San Antonio North - Stone Oak, San Antonio Airport (SAT), & Fiesta Texas - La Cantera; bid $47; got a “try again right now for $53”, which I ignored;

Added Medical Center and changed price to $50, accepted.

Hotel was booked on 8/31/12

Taxes & fees: $43.16

Total: $243.16
