thereuare Posted August 7, 2005 Report Posted August 7, 2005 You should be able to do better than the BOARDWALK.You can get the Excalibur for $83/nite.Nice, but just a tad over your budget, you can get the NYNY for $125/nite.Do any of the above work well for you?You can probably also do better if you're willing to SPLIT YOUR STAY. Flyinfree Posted August 7, 2005 Author Report Posted August 7, 2005 The NYNY hotel is a nice place, but lacks in room amenities (looking at the skyline option). Two of us are going and we are both 25 yrs old, so the NY hotel definetly fits the ambience we're lookin for (opposed to the Excalibur).. but we're hoping to get something more in terms of the room's amenities... That's the only appeal to the braodwalk (room amenities), but as you said we should be able to do better then that. splitting our stay is an idea we are open too.. after all since friday/sataurday nights seem to be the most expensive, and yet will likely be the days we spend the least time in the hotel.. it makes sense to have this wknd stay at a cheaper hotel, if the inconvenience of relocation out weighs the money saved :)

Just go to the Mandalay Bay Web Site and click in the "Enjoy a Summer of Fun from $129.95". Your days are even less than the $129.95 advertised - have no idea why. If you join the MGM Grand's Slot Club, they have a member's only offer of $59 weekdays - go to "reservations" then enter SLM034 as the "Promotion Code".
