adamnyla Posted August 6, 2005 Report Posted August 6, 2005 I am going to NYC next weekend (8/11-14) and looking to stay near Central Park or upper midtown west (east ok) or Soho (but not necessarily financial district). Is there any comprehensive list of which hotels match which descriptions for these areas? Tough to do on a item by item basis since there are quite a few. (saw that 4* in midtown east was the W, and 4* Soho was Millenium Hilton) but there are many other choices.) I am looking for 4 star, but will settle for 3 if I have to. I struck out today on priceline at $150 top bid for a 4 star in all major areas of Manhattan and will wait my 72 hours to try again. Thanks for any help.

Is there any comprehensive list of which hotels match which Hotline descriptions for these areas? Tough to do on a item by item basis since there are quite a few (more than 10) (saw that 4* in midtown east was the W, and 4* Soho was Millenium Hilton) but there are many other choices.) I am looking for 4 star, but will settle for 3 if I have to. Is there a list of possible hotels in NYC based on location and star number? I grew up in the Village so I know the city well.
