My husband usually does the booking on Priceline but its a srprise so I have to do it Yikes! I have never used priceline but do know my way around on priceline.

Welcome to BetterBidding!

First look at Priceline's map of the area and let us know which zone(s) you want to bid on... the hotel you receive can be anywhere within the shaded area.

What is your maximum budget? If high enough, would you rather get a 4* for your budget or is lowest price the primarly objective?

Demand is up for these days and one hotel i looked at was sold-out.

At the 4* level you have two re-bid zones, as the 3* level you have one. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read RE-BIDDING EXPLAINED and feel free to ask any questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board. This is how i would bid....

Select 4* NMA...

Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $90, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.

Select 3* NMA...

Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $70.

Good Luck and let us know how it goes.

I received this hotel for 2 nights 8/11-8/13 for $80 pr night Requested 4* $75 than a 3* 80 and they upgraded me to a 4* and put me here. I could have probably went about it a different way but was tired of messing with this. They had no respomse right away told me to keep hitting a "check here for response button" while they searched. FInally came back w that rate and hotel. Never seen that before. ANyhoo, overall happy w/location and the rest
