cjen1979 Posted August 27, 2012 Report Posted August 27, 2012 I am staying in Chicago for one night Oct. 2 in Chicago. I found a 3.5 Star rated hotel for 79$. It offers the following amenities Fitness Center Guests have access to exercise equipment; an additional charge may apply.Pool(s) Property offers at least one pool area; hours and dates of operation may be seasonal.Restaurant(s) Property offers at least one restaurant on the premises; hours and days of operation may vary.Business Center Guests have access to business equipment and services; an additional charge may apply.High-Speed Internet Access Guestrooms are equipped with high-speed Internet access; an extra charge may apply.anyone know which hotel this is and is this worth it? Should I keep searching or hurry and snag it? Thanks It has a 90% hotwire recommended thumbs up on it and a 4 out of 5 stars trip advisor. Thanks for any help you can give.
AaronJB Posted August 27, 2012 Report Posted August 27, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding.Given how busy much of October (and the Fall in general) is, I would definitely recommend taking it. My guess would be Doubletree Mag Mile.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

The price just went up to 86$. Thanks
AaronJB Posted August 27, 2012 Report Posted August 27, 2012 Purchase timing is discussed in detail in FAQ.However, as noted above, this is a busy time of year. If prices drop (and I don't think the chances of that are good), the drop isn't going to be much versus a greater risk of rates heading higher. Note how much more expensive the majority of the downtown listings are for these dates. If this listing were to run out of inventory, the next lowest price is $131 and the next highest downtown 3.5* is $140. I would recommend taking the 3.5* for $79.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
cjen1979 Posted August 27, 2012 Author Report Posted August 27, 2012 It was the doubletree and I got it for $86, $106 with tax and fees. I used the HOTWIRE link on your website! Thanks for your help.
AaronJB Posted August 28, 2012 Report Posted August 28, 2012 Congrats on your success. :)Great deal! Definitely a very nice win for this busy period, with Expedia showing the lowest rate at $229.Thank you for sharing your win and using the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
