Suspicious of Priceline Pricing for Flights.

Hi Everyone,

I am looking to travel from ATL to Budapest in mid - late November or early December. I honestly want the cheapest price and am pretty flexible about getting there.

However, I started with bidding at 200 and got what I wanted. I went down to 10 dollars and it spit back 17 dollars for the fare. That doesn't even make sense to me!

I am extremely suspicious of how this works and have spent some time reading into the fine print.

if i buy my ticket, am I buying the ticket for 20 dollars or will it give me a price of 800 dollars since its the "closest" to my bid and will I then be stuck with a 800 dollar ticket?

I am only considering going if the airfare is around 300 to 400 bucks roundtrip.

Thanks,

SinatraATL
