Priceline Hotel: Need hotel room in Pittsburgh

Hi. I need a hotel room in Pittsburgh for Friday Sept 28 for 2 adults. Would like it to be near PNC Park. I was hoping to get the Renaissance. I tried Pricelining a 4 star downtown hotel and added all of the areas. I started and $50 and worked my way up to $105 and had no luck. What should I try now?

I didn't proceed any further with either the HOTWIRE or NYC threads. Plans changed for trip to Pittsburgh and the NYC trip I ended up booking through a hotel directly. Would really like to get this room for Pittsburgh though. Sept. 28 for 2 adults, near PNC Park. Would like the Renaissance but am willing to stay at another hotel 3.5-4 star, near pnc

There is no way to guarantee a particular property or area within a zone - if you bid for a particular star rating/zone, you have to be willing to stay anywhere within the zone. What would be your desired budget per night for this stay?

PNC Park is located within PRICELINE's "North Shore-Stadiums" zone, but the highest star rating offered in this zone is 3*. Is this the only zone you're willing to accept and you're willing to lower your minimum star rating, or is 'Downtown' acceptable as well? (Pittsburgh is fairly small geographically and eve if you're at the further point in the Downtown zone from PNC Park, it wouldn't really be much more than a mile away)
