Thanks...yes I am in NY right now and enjoying my stay - hotel has great location. This was booked at 330PM on the afternoon of Friday, August 5th - so basically only a few hours prior to the time I actually checked in. I assume in this case the last minute booking helped get a good deal, however, I notice that someone who booked on August 2nd, got the sister hotel to the one I'm in (The New York Hilton) at $120 a night for the same nights. I'm happy with this location and the price cannot be beat. Thanks to that person however, because without this web site and that post, I would never have had a clue where to start or even if it were possible!
