Priceline Hotel: help with 9/1-9/5, 4* or 3.5*

i'm trying to bid for 4 nights (9/1-9/5) and i have already put in about 40 bids for USE, USW, SoMa, and the financial district using the techniques outlined on this board. the highest bids i've put in thus far are as follows:

3.5*:

USE $125

USW $120

SoMa $125

financial $125

4*:

USE $130

USW $130

SoMa $125

financial $125

i'm bidding every $5 and have started my bids around $90 for each area. i saw wins posted on this board for the same dates, 4*, in USW and financial for $125. any tips for getting into these neighborhoods? not sure if labor day is really busy, or if i'm having trouble because i'm spanning my days from saturday night through tuesday night. do you think it would help to wait a few more days?

HOTWIRE has a 3.5* hotel for $124 in the USW zone that i'm thinking is the Hotel Adagio, which is 3* rated by PRICELINE, but does get good reviews (4.0/5.0 TA rating) and mostly 4.5/5.0 ratings from previous guests for all the criteria HOTWIRE asks previous guests to rate. Even if not the Hotel Adagio, it appears to be a well reviewed property (and the 'problem' bidding 3* on PRICELINE in hopes of this property is that you don't know if you'll receive this this property or one that isn't not as well reviewed)

If the above is not acceptable for this trip, then i think you're just out of range and a 4* hotel in one of the zones above will likely cost $140-$160.
