Wasn't expecting the Holiday Inn--have always got the Doubletree when I bid 2.5* at the STL Airport. This is a first for me.

This was indeed my first bid zone because I was thinking I would get the Doubletree like I had been getting in the past as a 2.5 star. The Doubletree (And the Holiday Inn) both offer free parking (something to consider for those of you bidding) and also its easier to park closer to your room compared to the 3* at the airport (Hilton & Marriott). You're right--It was a reported hotel and I know I stayed there before (this was in my pre betterbidding.com days) but didn't think that was a 2.5 star if the Doubletree was! But nontheless, it was still a great buy!
