I used the PRICELINE link was finally able to secure 3 rooms at $225 each after trying for days. I started off bidding for a 4 star at $135 and went up in $5 increments and added a new zone each time. When I finally got to $200, I stopped and bid on 3.5 star and did the same thing. Still no luck.

I finally started bidding again today on a 4 star at $201 and went up in $2 increments and added a new zone each time.

I was hoping to get it for a bit less, but I guess for a Saturday night in New York it's not too bad. I'm satisfied with the win.

I'll also add you're also near my often recommended Ess-A-Bagel (Third Ave at 51st St) which has one of the best bagels in the city, makes for a nice, and relatively inexpensive, breakfast among local NYers.
