Priceline Hotel: 4* San Francisco (Union Square East) Sir Francis Drake A Kimpton Hotel

Hi everyone!

I am planning to visit San Francisco this coming Sunday/Monday (August 26-27). I am attending a show on Powell Street and would like to stay within walking distance of there.

Here is my details:

Hotel stars: 4-2.5

Price: $130 or less

Near Powell Street. I think that includes Union Square East, Union Square West - Nob Hill, and SOMA - Moscone Center (?).

I have tinkered around on Priceline but I have gone to $130 without hitting anything. Any advice would be great! Thank you!

Powell is a fairly long street, at what cross street (or address) do you need to be near?

Thereuare: Thank you for the welcome. Actually I have not attempted a 2.5* at $130. I would prefer to keep it below $90 if it's 2.5. If that is even possible!

At current rates this doesn't look like it will be likely... and it may not be possible at $130 either.

Exactly which zone(s) and star rating combinations have you tried already?

Using MAPS and HOTELS.com and/or BiddingHelper.com what is the best deal you're able to find thru conventional booking channels?

Thank you for your assistance! I just tried again.

I ended up with $170 at Sir Francis Drake!! It is a bit more than I was hoping to spend but I think it will be worth it. I couldn't even get a 3* for $150.

This is what I did:

4* Union East : $160

4* (added) Union West : $165

4* (added) SOMA : $170
