Priceline Hotel: Priceline for CES 2013 - Jan 8-11

With the CES on 2013, Any suggestion for hotels?

Price are crazy...even Circus Circus wanted $119.

Anyone with experience from previous CES?

I booked TI for $250 a night from 1/8/13-1/11/13, I figured i can always cancel it if I can find better deal at Hotwire/Priceline.

I'm looking for 4* or higher, with less than $200 budget.

I'm kind of wanting to hear people who been to CES previously and what they think about getting the hotel from Priceline/Hotwire.

I'm concern that the hotel might not have a shuttle pickup if I bid from Priceline/Hotwire.

It may not. Is this a requirement for this trip, as you could always simply walk to the nearest hotel that offers a shuttle and take the shuttle from there, no?

What appears to be the Tropicana is offered on HOTWIRE for $148/nite... would this work for your needs?
