Hotwire Hotel: Two and a half star...Chicago O'Hare $48+fees or $57 total

This two and a half star at ORD South is an oddball, dated(early 1970's?), but comfortable little hotel called the Waverton Hotel in Elmhurst which itself is connected to a small waterpark.

The parking lot is very dark and I was a little apprehensive when I first pulled in.

Front desk was unattended for about five minutes.

Lots of tweens in the halls.

There was a dorm fridge and microwave in the room.

The room was nicer than one would expect.

Despite the negatives a decent value for the money and I slept well.

Would never be my first choice but for the budget conscious traveler it's OK .

As far as reviews, Hotwire claims to "still be gathering" them for this property.
