kevin347 Posted August 22, 2012 Report Posted August 22, 2012 Started around 34$ and was adding different zones. Got accepted for $40 a night. Edit : Just came to know that they charge for parking..Hard to believe a suburban hotel would charge for a parking..Feel like not such a great deal now..
AaronJB Posted August 22, 2012 Report Posted August 22, 2012 Congrats on your success. :)Very nice deal for this Hilton property. Sorry to hear about the parking charge, but still a savings as regular rate customers pay the same parking cost.Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
thereuare Posted August 22, 2012 Report Posted August 22, 2012 This hotel isn't exactly in a 'suburban' location as it's located right near a major exit of the NJ Turnpike where it hits Route 18. I believe the hotel uses/shares the parking garage of the nearby office building which is likely why there is a fee (ie- the hotel doesn't have their own parking facility and doesn't own the land where the parking structure is located)While none of us like to pay for parking, at $8/nite it brings your total room rate up to $48... still sounds like a very good deal to me for a 3.5* rated, Hilton branded, hotel.Enjoy your stay. kevin347 Posted August 23, 2012 Author Report Posted August 23, 2012 Sounds good. Thanks. Although I noticed when I won priceline said we upgraded your hotel to 4*. Is it still 3.5* hotel?
thereuare Posted August 23, 2012 Report Posted August 23, 2012 This would indicate that this hotel is now 4* rated... thanks for letting us know and we have updated the Priceline Hotel List to reflect this new star rating. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Thanks.
