I have booked a room for the time being at a fair rate of $179/night with breakfast for now, the room is fully refundable up to 3 days in advance so i will continue my search until then!

I can confirm that I booked a hotel from Hotwire from 10/29/12-11/1/12 for $215 a night and received the Argonaut. It had the same description that mdmtrof mentioned above. Total bill with fees totaled $767.02. I estimate a savings of $100-$150 over the AAA rate.
