thereuare
I moved this thread to the DC section of the board and classified the zone as DC (Crystal City). You originally had Arlington (Crystal City) which is not a Priceline zone... if the topic title is not correct please let us know. What was your highest previously rejected bid? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
biddingforhotel
Thanks for the correction. It is VA but near DC...Somehow, I got it the first time at $41 ...But, when I tried to get it lower at $35, and just did not get it and has to add different free bids and increase from $37, $39 and $40, eventually, I still got it at $41 ...I have consulted dozens of websites and no reported lower than $41 which matches my minimum... but this 2.5* should be classified 3*, it is like 13 or 14 stories with gorgeous lobby ...etc.And I like it very much because it can walk thru underground mall and to Metro at Crystal City so that I can take DC subway to check out wonderful museums in DC area ..."When in Rome do as Romes do" is what I like about this hotel that allow you to do as local people would do to visit DC museums ...In general, I have visited all hotels in Crystal city and they are all very nice!! I even check out many apartments there; even if I do not live at Crystal City, I would just drive to Crystay City and park the car at meter, FREE on Sunday, or after 6pm Sat, so I can still take Metro to DC ...
