Hello. I'm looking for a bid strategy for a 4* in MTE, MTW and TS for October 2-5, 2012. We need 4 rooms (does this normally help or hinder our bidding?) and MTE Waldorf Astoria would be our first choice if there is a specific strategy for that, but we are open to MTW and TS as well. We are looking to keep it under $175 total cost per room per night. Thanks for the help!

Multiple rooms is often a non-factor, but if there is an effect, it is a negative one as the hotel needs to have loaded enough rooms at their lowest rate to meet your demand.

Your $175 all-in rate is equivalent to about a $145/nite bid, and at current rates that unfortunately is not likely going to be enough for these dates.

Using MAPS and HOTELS.com and/or BiddingHelper.com, what is the best rate you're able to find at an acceptable hotel in one of these zones?
