Hey Aaron,

I was checking the "shown" hotels listed on Hotwire.com and they have vdara for $189 only! So how is it that the hidden hotel is more expensive that the shown? Can you please help me with this?

The 'opaque' rate includes the additional person charge for more than double occupancy... the 'retail' rate does not.

For the retail listing the additional person charges are in the 'taxes/fees' making the all-in total for each:

Opaque: $682

vs.

Retail: $879

The opaque (ie- 'hidden') rate is cheaper.
