First off, I want to say that this board is a ton of help! Thanks for all the info. Have been using the links to search for a hotel on Hotwire for Fort Lauderdale. Any ideas on what this property may be?

Hi there,

I wanted to conclude this thread. Did not do the 3* Airport Hotel but did end up booking a 4* in Weston / Plantation area. The hotel list on this board was correct in identifying it as the Hyatt Regency Bonaventure for $95.

And just to share the news that this property will not be a Hyatt any longer after August 31st, 2012. The notice was on the Hyatt site and I called the hotel to confirm. It's changing hands to a new property management to become a new boutique hotel called the Bonaventure Hotel and Spa (or something like that, can't remember exact title). This same property group owns the ONE hotel in Miami South Beach amongst others. But the manager said that all rates booked now will still be honoured after the management change.
