iceui2 Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 Took 18 bids to get up to $195... pretty expensive for this time of the year I guess.
AaronJB Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 Congrats on your success. Not a bad win for this Sheraton property! Hope the hotel will work well for your travel plans.Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
cvalerio77 Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 I'd like to stay at the Sheraton. Is there any way to get this specific hotel (Waikiki Beach) through the bidding process or through Hotwire? Any tips would help. It is currently going for $270 per night on most sites (12/8-12/11). It is among a handful of "resorts" so when bidding, I could just get any of those in Waikiki, correct? Just thought I'd ask. Thanks in advance
AaronJB Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 cvalerio77,Welcome to Betterbidding. Please start a new thread with the details of your stay and we would be happy to offer suggestions. Both services are more about getting a hotel at a discount than a specific hotel. Using PRICELINE you have to be willing to get ANY hotel at the star rating chosen in the zone/s chosen (or possibly being upgraded to the next highest star rating.) With HOTWIRE, you can make an educated guess as to which hotels are showing, but there's only one hotel showing at each star rating in each zone for each set of date/s and it may not be the one you are hoping for.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
