Los Angeles (LAX) to Prague (PRG)

Hello I am a student looking to travel to Prague from LAX from Decenber 26 for two weeks. I am flexible within a couple of days for my flights and I honestly just want the cheapest flight possible. I have been looki around at different airlines and the price is ranging from 1050 to about 1500. I was hoping to get something from around 500 - 800 ... I was hoping if that would be possible on Priceline. If so when would be the best time for me to place this bid.. It is mid"August right now ! I would love any advice on booking this trip

I would begin bidding now and with the technieques in this Priceline Airfare Re-Bidding thread (see the 2nd post in particular) you can have an almost unlimited number of re-bid zones.

You can start low (near $500) if you'd like and increase gradually, first at ~$25 per bid and then by $5-$10 per bid as you get closer to your maximum (and more realistic) budget.
