Priceline Hotel: 4* Chicago (North Michigan Ave - River North) Whitehall Hotel

New to the board... I'm a big fan of LastMinuteTravel. Using hotel identifiers, I tried to book the James at $118 per night, the Tremont at $108 per night, and lastly, the Courtyard by Marriott at $113 per night. All hotels were on request and it turns out they were all sold out, so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to try Priceline for the first time. We're going to Chicago for a wedding and wanted to stay in the NMA area.

First bid, NMA - River North, 4* at $100 per night (based on lack of success on LastMinuteTravel and express hotel rates)... No success.

Waited 24 hours (was waiting to hear back from Courtyard by Marriott)... Second bid, NMA - River North, 4* at $105 per night... No success.

Added free rebid area #1 (Franklin Park)... Third bid, NMA - River North plus Franklin Park, 4* at $110 per night... No success.

Added free rebid area #2 (Hyde Park)... Fourth bid, NMA - River North plus Hyde Park, 4* at $115 per night... No success.

Added free rebid area #3 (Lincoln Park)... Fifth bid, NMA - River North plus Lincoln Park, 4* at $120 per night.... Finally! Success! Whitehall Hotel on East Delaware Place. Great location, but mixed reviews.
