Priceline Hotel: Plan for Chincoteauge, VA?

Hello, I am looking for a little advice on booking a hotel thru Priceline, name your own price, for Chincoteauge Island, VA. I figured out I will get either a Best Western Plus or Comfort Suites as they are the only 2.5 stars in the area. I am looking to stay 9/14-9/17 Friday - Sunday. Current Priceline prices are $174 & $143. I have tried a low ball of 40, 50, 55 60, 65 and 75 and got nothing! As I still have time before the trip, what should I do? Just keep retrying everyday?
