This was my first time bidding at Priceline.

I was looking for 4* hotel for one night 10/27(SAT)in Midtown East.

Started with MTE zone at $150 - rejected

Added rebid zone MTW at $160 - rejected

Added rebid zone Soho Tribecca at $170 - rejected

Added rebid zone Central Park South at $180 - rejected

Added rebid zone Upper East at $190 - rejected

Added rebid zone Queensborough at $200 - rejected

Added rebid zone TS at $210 - Accepted for Inter-Continental The Barclay

I looked at the price at Expedia for this hotel for the same date, and it was $270.

Hotwire has 4* Midtown East hotel for $235, so I got little bit of discount.

I was hoping for W hotel, but I guess it's not too bad for a first time bidder:)
