Hotwire Hotel: 5* The strip-North Area Hotel

On Sept 6th thru September 10th 2012 there is a hot buy for 98 per night in this area. It says it is compared to 271 on other sites. I looked on hotels.com and another site and the encore was the only one listed as 271.Is the encore possible on the hot buys? The amenities include:

Spa Services

Resort

Smoke Free Rooms

Fitness centers

pools

restaurants

Business center

High speed internet

Gold nearby

Tennis nearby

Kitchenette

Parking

The amenities sound like Trump from the previous posts but on no other site is trump listed anywhere close to 271 soo im not sure..Any help is appreciated!

This would be a likely match for the Trump. $271 is not the price of the mystery hotel, it is an average/comparison of rates for similar properties for these dates.

Going to Vegas September 6th thru 10th and I'm looking to stay in one of the 5* Hotels( besides Trump and Vdara) or 4.5*( Planet Hollywood, Mirage, ceasars). I've never actually bid on PRICELINE so I'm not sure what prices I can get on these. Can anyone Help my bidding strategy so I can get one of these hotels for as cheap as possible? Thanks!

If at all possible I'm trying to spend 125 or less a night on the hotel

For the hotels above you're trying to win for this stay, you can't bid on a specific hotel when using PRICELINE, you have to be able to accept any hotel in the zone at the star level (or higher) that you choose. With HOTWIRE you can often take an educated guess as to what is being offered based upon the amenities associated with the property, but it's still a 'best guess' and no guarantees you will receive the hotel you're hoping for. As well, HOTWIRE only shows one hotel at each star level per zone, so there is a chance the hotel you're hoping for isn't the one which is offered for your particular dates.
