ElPal Posted August 8, 2012 Report Posted August 8, 2012 As always using your links I have found 2 Milan hotels for our stay from 5-7 April 2013.I see that the only reported 5* on the hotwire hotel list is the Westin Palace. I am unsure which zone the Westin Palace falls into.MILAN CENTRAL STATION AREA HOTEL5*$97.00 per room, per night ($228.36 total inclusive of fees and taxes)Amenities: Airport Shuttle, Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-Speed Internet Access, Spa Services, Accessible for the blind, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking, Roll-in shower Do we think that is the Westin Palace? Using your link for Maps and hotels, I can only see this as the 5* near the station.OLD TOWN - DUOMO AREA HOTEL 5*$234 per room, per night ($543.99 total inclusive of fees and taxes)Amenities: Restaurant(s), Free Internet, In-room accessibility (no others listed when I click for a full list)Any ideas which 5* this is likely to be?I note from the Hotwire Hotel List that we only have Milan spread into Milan, Milan Airport and Milan Southwest. It seems Hotwire may have changed the way that it zones Milan. Thanks again in advance for any insight you may be able to shed on which hotels these 2 different 5* properties in Milan might be. As always, I continue to use your links.
thereuare Posted August 8, 2012 Report Posted August 8, 2012 My guess for the Central Station property would be the Westin and for the Old Town property my guess would be the Chateau Monfort. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
ElPal Posted August 9, 2012 Author Report Posted August 9, 2012 Thanks for your help. Will not be making any bookings just yet but will continue to use your links for any research and eventual booking.Btw, if it is the Chateau Monfort, it is not the cheapest rate - I have found it at booking.com for a cheaper rate for the same dates where I can get it for US$523 total for the stay.
thereuare Posted August 10, 2012 Report Posted August 10, 2012 Will not be making any bookings just yet...Please ask for help identifying properties once you're ready to commit to a non-refundable purchase as the hotels currently offered may not be the ones that are offered once you're ready to commit to a purchase. Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board.
