Got the Parc 55 Wyndham with the following amenities:

Fitness Center

Restaurant(s)

Business Center

High-Speed Internet Access

Accessible for the blind

Accessible for the deaf

Accessible path of travel

In-room accessibility

Accessible bathroom

Handicapped parking

Roll-in shower

Really quite unhappy with this outcome as I could have booked the same room with my AAA discount on Wyndham's website and the total with taxes would have come out to only $10 more for the entire stay (and I would have been eligible for loyalty rewards and free internet). This is my first time using Hotwire and I will probably never do so again based on this outcome.

Sorry to hear you're disappointed with the outcome. Just like HOTWIRE wouldn't be the sole booking service i use after one positive experience, I wouldn't write-off HOTWIRE after one negative experience... instead use the board here and ask for help and we can hopefully help with more positive results in the future.

Before booking via priceline or hotwire, you should also research Expedia, orbitz, hotels.com, kayak, etc. See what published rates are before using an opaque booking service. You mentioned loyalty rewards - check to see if there are special rates for members of the hotel's rewards programs.

I'd also suggest our recently redesigned (to include both PRICELINE and Hotels.com) MAPS and HOTELS.com which makes it very easy to visually see how much more less it would cost to go up/down in star rating OR stay closer/further than your ideal location.
