For $209/night for 8/10/2012. After reading betterbidding history for 4* in Theater district I was expecting Palmer or W. So I was surpised to get Monaco.

While not the hotel you were expecting, this is certainly a pleasant surprise as the Kimpton properties get great reviews (and they have a complimentary evening wine reception each nite which makes for a nice way to end the work day or start a nite out on the town)

This property is also superbly located on the North border of the zone, making for an extremely easy walk to the Michigan Ave. shopping area and River North restaurants/nightlife.
