Priceline Hotel: 3.5* Madison (Downtown) Hilton Madison Monona Terrace

Hi everyone,

So here's my first-time winning bid ever. I saw what I thought must be the Downtown Madison Hilton or Sheraton on Hotwire for $67, used the Priceline link and bid $50 and got the Hilton. Including taxes and fees, that's $64.70.

Three weeks ago, I tried the same bid, and one of $55 including 3* hotels, but it was rejected. The only drawback is there's no free parking ($13/night self-parking, $17 valet at the hotel, just noticed there's a large city-operated parking garage around the corner at S. Pinckney St that's only $5/night).
