shadymike13 Posted August 7, 2012 Report Posted August 7, 2012 Had started bidding this every day back in June and the first of July sticking in the $150-$180 range with no luck. Stopped bidding as most who had won the Grand Hyatt in this price range did so 1-2 months out from their travel dates, but kept monitoring better bidding. Saw where yesterday someone with travel dates close to mine had their bid accepted at $171 a night. Threw out a bid of $160 for 10/28-10/31 and bid was accepted. Good Luck!Note added - Never seen this before, but received the below e-mail from Priceline approximately 10 minutes after bid was accepted stating I could extend my stay at the same rate, but was only available for a limted amount of time."Happy with the hotel we've selected for you? For the same great nightly rate, you can stay a little longer and kick back and relax." Please review the following when Adding Nights:•Availability is not guaranteed.•Nights will be added to all rooms on a multiple-room request.•Nights can be added either to the beginning or the end of your original request, not both.•Total amount of nights added can be up to the number of nights on your original request.•The total number of added nights combined with the original number of nights cannot exceed 21 nights.•You may add nights to this request one time.•The option to Add Nights is only available up until 11am on the date of check-out.•In rare cases the hotel may require you to move rooms.•Your new Add Nights request will be booked as a separate request. Your original reservation remains unchanged
