Hi and thanks in advance for your help. I searched on Hotwire for 4 people 8/31-9/2 and found a:

- $71/night

- 2* hotel

- Chicago Loop - Theatre District

- Amentities include: Restaurant(s), Business Center, High Speed Internet Access

- "Super Savings"

- Recommended by 70% of Hotwire Customer Reviews

Any idea on which hotel this would be? Thanks!

This listing has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board, but my guess would be the Congress or Travelodge - while definitely an inexpensive rate for these dates, both hotels do definitely get negative reviews.

-McCormick Place area hotel

- 3 Star

- 8/31-9/2

- $86/night

- Amentities include Boutique Hotel, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-Speed Internet Access, Accessible for the blind, Free Parking, Free Internet, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Handicapped parking, Roll-in shower

My guess would be the South Loop Hotel. Keep in mind that, despite the name, this property is a ways South of the city and there is not much directly around it.

Due to potentially negative reviews on these hotels, we didn't end up using these. We did end up going with a different 3.5* through your HOTWIRE link and it was the Holiday Inn and the Merch Mart which was great.

I'm not able to see the Amentities, but the price we paid for the Holiday Inn Merchandise Mary was $129.
