I started bidding on Priceline in the areas of Lincoln Park, North Michigan Ave and Millenium Park for a 2 star or higher during the dates 8/17-8/19. My bids began at $50 and worked up to $110 per night without getting a winning bid. I finally just settled on a hotwire price of $122 for a 3.5 star in the Chicago Loop-Theater district. This turned out to be the Central Loop Hotel. There are currently 3 rooms left at this price.
