I've been trying priceline's bidding and going up to $250 without any luck, so I'm pretty happy I got a 5* hotel considering everything is pretty expensive for this period I was looking for (all the 4* and some 3* hotels cost more at for this period). I booked through this forum's HOTWIRE link :).

5* Venice The Westin Europa and Regina

Amenities: Airport Shuttle, Fitness Center, Restaurant.

The Airport Shuttle was the big give-away so I was pretty confident that it was going to be The Westin (although any 5* at this price would have been OK too).

I believe there may have been more amenities associated with this property which would not have been seen unless you clicked the 'See all' link during the checkout process. Can you please double check and add a reply to this thread confirming if there were more amenities then in your post... you call still view the complete list of amenities associated with your purchase by going to HOTWIRE and clicking the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right of their home page.

I see you have merged the two threads on two completely different hotels. The title does not match the OP and it's rather confusing to anyone who did not see the original title. And we still do not know what the identity of the 4* hotel in the OP yet.

The first post is for a 4* hotel priced at $231/nite that was not purchased... a 5* hotel later appeared that was priced at $208 and this property was purchased and is reflected in the topic title.

Just to clarify, the first post was originally asking for help IDing the 4* hotel that was $231, and the 5* (The Westin)option was not available at that time. A few days later the 5* option appeared for cheaper ($208) so it was an easy decision.
