Made this reservation using the BetterBidding HOTWIRE link; $85 plus $19.47 taxes and fees total $104.47. I searched using one adult and this was a Hotwire "super savings" rate; I checked the Holiday Inn Express website immediately after booking, and the rack rate for the cheapest room was $139, so I am pleased with this rate. Usually I get a hotel in the Brookfield/Waukesha/Pewaukee Hotwire area for this trip, but there were no 2.5 or 3 star properties available for under $100. When I checked Kayak, the hotels I usually book in that area using Hotwire in the $60's were going for $150-170, so there must have been something going on in the area this particular weekend.
