ElPal Posted August 5, 2012 Author Report Posted August 5, 2012 TOP Hotel Ambassador - Zlata Husa would be my best guess for this one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Thanks - so that would be a new addition to the Hotwire Hotel list if it were correct? Also, this may have been answered elsewhere, so please excuse me if it has, when Hotwire indictates that other sites are offering a hotel for a particular price, is it just comparing against those which have the tick boxes on them to the top right of the hotels list?I always return to your website to use your links for Priceline or Hotwire whenever searching or making bookings. Thanks
ElPal Posted August 6, 2012 Author Report Posted August 6, 2012 2 other HOTWIRE hot Deal hotels to help me identify please (I used your links as always for my research):FIRST HOTEL5* Old TownUS$86 per night (stated as $160 on other sites)Amenities:Boutique Hotel Indoor pool(s) Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities (self-service) High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Spa Services Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Wheelchair accessible Accessible bathroom I have googled for 5* boutique hotels in Prague with golf and tennis and the only result that matches for me is Kempinski Hybernska Prague. Although google did bring up the beautiful Alchymist Grand Hotel and Spa http://www.alchymisthotel.com/ but I could not find out from its website whether it has golf and tennis. Any ideas?SECOND HOTEL4*Old Town$86 ($160 other sites)Amenities:Smoke Free Rooms, Free Breakfast (no others listed even when you click for the full list).BTW, I note that on your Hotwire Hotel List the Hilton is listed as a 4* however on the retail part of the Hotwire site both the Hilton Prague Old Town Hotel and the Hilton Prague Atrium are 5* - perhaps Hotwire has upgraded them (Priceline also has them as 5*).Do we know whether Hotwire covers both Hiltons in the Old Town zone?PRICELINE 5* in PragueAlso, following on from that and still related to the 2 Hiltons, I have a question about Priceline for Prague but wasn't sure if you want me to keep the whole stay together or post it there - if you prefer to put it there, please transfer it there.I note that the most recent Priceline 5* wins for Prague have been for the Hilton all being in the $71 to $77 per night range. Do we know which of the 2 Hiltons these were for?
ElPal Posted August 23, 2012 Author Report Posted August 23, 2012 Sorry just bumping as I was still wondering if anyone would kindly be able to assist me (again :) )
ElPal Posted August 23, 2012 Author Report Posted August 23, 2012 Also, just looked again on HOTWIRE using your links and have seen another 4.5* property for Prague for one of the dates in the date range (15-16 March 2013).The price is USD$81 per night. However, this is in the Prague Castle - Mala Strana - Smichov area Amenities: Boutique Hotel Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Free Internet Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Any ideas?

ElPal Posted August 23, 2012 Author Report Posted August 23, 2012 5* Old TownI'm not currently seeing this property when searching HOTWIRE for your datesIt must not be available now. When I posted originally it was - nonetheless, any idea which hotel it could have been with tennis and golf nearby?4* Old TownThis property has a 55% recommendation from previous HOTWIRE guests and a 3.0/5.0 rating for location... i'm assuming this isn't the type of property that you're considering for this stay? Thanks for pointing that out - you're correct I wouldn't be interested in this with those ratings. Also, in my earlier post I had a query about which of the Hiltons people had been winning:BTW, I note that on your Hotwire Hotel List the Hilton is listed as a 4* however on the retail part of the Hotwire site both the Hilton Prague Old Town Hotel and the Hilton Prague Atrium are 5* - perhaps Hotwire has upgraded them (Priceline also has them as 5*).Do we know whether Hotwire covers both Hiltons in the Old Town zone?PRICELINE 5* in PragueAlso, following on from that and still related to the 2 Hiltons, I have a question about Priceline for Prague but wasn't sure if you want me to keep the whole stay together or post it there - if you prefer to put it there, please transfer it there.I note that the most recent Priceline 5* wins for Prague have been for the Hilton all being in the $71 to $77 per night range. There has only been one report thru HOTWIRE of a Hilton Hotel in Prauge, and it was in this Hotwire Hotel thread from 2007, which appears to have been the Hilton Prague based upon the message in that thread.PRICELINE 5* in Prague. I note that the most recent Priceline 5* wins for Prague have been for the Hilton all being in the $71 to $77 per night range.
