Priceline Hotel: failed bid

I lowballed at $24 and failed. Priceline gave me a list of options including 2* drumheller travelodge at $49 per night. Can this give me a clue as to what I could bid in 72 hours to win?

I am also flexible on starting date of 20/21/22. Any strategies?

No, the "Opaque" service and the "Shop and Compare" service, while both from priceline, whould be considered completely separate entities.

BIG savings can be a bit tougher in smaller areas which only have lower(er) quality hotels. I would think that you will likely need to me in the high $20's/low $30's to begin to have a chance for an area such as this.
