Bargain Traveler Posted August 3, 2012 Author Report Posted August 3, 2012 Last time I checked the price was $124.
thereuare Posted August 3, 2012 Report Posted August 3, 2012 This property has not yet been reported to the board, but note that it is only recommended by 40% of previous HOTWIRE guests. There are only a handful of reviews so this number could be explained by a few low ratings, but with nothing support this property being better than it appears, i'd be careful with this one.I'm assuming the price is what attracted you to this offer... what is your maximum budget (per nite before taxes and fees) for this trip and what is your desired star rating? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Bargain Traveler Posted August 3, 2012 Author Report Posted August 3, 2012 Thanks. I was skeptical about that offer. I am trying to find inexpensive accommodations for four adult children in their 20s (probably 2 rooms). We have a large group going at Christmas and staying at the Sheraton Waikiki. We are trying to find something close but much more affordable for them - 3 or 4 star in the less than $150 range. The 4 star Waikiki Beach area for $143 looks pretty good. I'm guessing that is Waikiki Parc Hotel.
thereuare Posted August 4, 2012 Report Posted August 4, 2012 If you're going to try for two rooms and only need double occupancy per room, why not bid on PRICELINE... or if you'd like us to confirm your guess of the Waikiki Parc list the amenities that HOTWIRE associates with this property? What is the deciding factor between one room for quad occupancy vs. two rooms with double occupancy each? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Bargain Traveler Posted August 4, 2012 Author Report Posted August 4, 2012 Price is the deciding factor. I might give PRICELINE a try.
Bargain Traveler Posted August 4, 2012 Author Report Posted August 4, 2012 ... or if you'd like us to confirm your guess of the Waikiki Parc list the amenities that HOTWIRE associates with this property?I am getting $142 for this 4 star in the Waikiki Beach area on Hotwire:4-star Hotel in Waikiki BeachThis Hotel features the following amenities:Near BeachProperty is located within easy walking distance of a beach.Smoke Free RoomsPool(s)Business CenterLaundry Facilities (self-service)High-Speed Internet AccessGolf NearbyTennis NearbyAccessible for the blindAccessible for the deafFree InternetAccessible path of travelIn-room accessibilityAccessible bathroomHandicapped parkingRoll-in showerIs there any chance it could be Hawaii Prince? That is just too far away for our needs.
thereuare Posted August 5, 2012 Report Posted August 5, 2012 Is there also a Fitness amenity listed with the property above? If so, then yes my best guess would be the Waikiki Parc. This would not be the Hawaii Prince since that property is located in the Marina zone. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
