Before I could submit it I got the automated message that the average 3 star hotel room in that area is $109 (implying that I am either wasting my time or insulting their intelligence with such a ridiculously low bid). As soon as I submitted it, I got a response imploring me to raise my bid a mere $9. Refusing to take the bait, I pressed on and inched my way up to $42 by adding free rebid areas.Offer Price: avg. per room, per night: $42. Nights: 3Room Subtotal: $126.00Taxes & Fees: $29.67Total Charged to Card: $155.67Hyatt Place San Antonio-NorthwestFiesta Texas - La Cantera 4303 Hyatt Place Drive, San Antonio, TX 78230 From looking at HOTWIRE, it appears that this same hotel is going for $57 there so I am glad I stuck with Priceline.
